ICHD 2024

Submission Guidelines

Starting from ICHD2024, authors are encouraged to submit through this website an extended abstract before December 15 ^th, 2023.
To be able to submit an abstract you need an account on this web site. If you do not have an account, you may click here to create one.
Abstracts should not exceed 3 pages (the format must be downloaded from the website), inclusive of all text, figures, tables and references.

They should present the novelty of the research proposed, summarize figures and illustrations (with samples), and include a summary of important conclusions.

All submitted abstracts will undergo a thorough peer review by an international scientific panel and will be selected upon recommendation. The review is based on scientific quality, significance, novelty and relevance to the conference topics. Following the review process you will receive a notification on February 1st, 2024. In case your abstract is accepted, you will be invited to submit the full paper at ICHD2024 within May 15^th, 2024. Submittal of an abstract is a professional commitment: if the abstract is accepted, the author commits to prepare a final paper, attend the Symposium and make a presentation based on that final paper.

The best abstracts selected by the international scientific committee, in line with the four multidisciplinary topics, will be proposed for extended presentations within the plenary sessions.

There is no limitation in the number of abstracts submitted per author; however, a maximum of two platform presentations by the same author will be accepted.

Please closely follow these instruction in order to speed up the review process:

• The ICHD2024 Word template must be followed.
• Your abstract must be in English.
• Please convert your ICHD2024 abstract to a PDF file.
• Be sure to embed the fonts when creating the PDF.
• DO NOT password protect your file.
• Make sure the filename has only one extension (.pdf)

All authors of accepted abstracts are obliged to submit a paper of maximum 10 pages before May 31^th, 2024.

After the paper submission, authors will be invited (by May 31st, 2024.) to present the results at ICHD2024 conference orally or by poster.
However, only the papers associated with a regular subscription of the presenting author, i.e. finalized within July 31st , will be included in the final programme of the conference. As a supporting journal for the ICHD’2024, Journal of Hydrodynamics will select some excellent papers to publish a special issue/column in the journal.
